Get To Know Dr. Seth DeJean
Dr. Seth DeJean is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana. He brings not only top-tier training but also a deep-rooted love for his community and a passion for helping children thrive.
Before finding his passion in pediatric dentistry, Dr. DeJean earned a degree in Civil Engineering from LSU. His path took a turn toward healthcare, and he returned to school, where he earned a doctorate of dental surgery from LSU School of Dentistry. He then completed a prestigious Pediatric Dentistry Residency earning dual certificates from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Boston Children’s Hospital – the top pediatric hospital in the nation.
Dr. DeJean remains actively involved in organized dentistry. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Louisiana Dental Association (LDA), Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry (SWPD), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). He also currently serves as the President of the Louisiana Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Beyond the dental chair, Dr. DeJean is a proud father of four, and enjoys an active lifestyle. He loves to exercise, practice jiu-jitsu, and travel with his family, always looking for new adventures and ways to stay connected.
